Baptism

At Sanctuary we believe that baptism is an important step for every Christ follower. God’s Word gives us many examples of believers being baptized, which is an outward sign of a heart changed by the love of God. We would like the opportunity to meet with you to hear how God has brought you to your decision to be baptized.

What is Baptism?

Baptism is a symbol of the new covenant of grace and signifies acceptance of the benefits of the atonement of Jesus Christ. By means of this sacrament, believers declare their faith in Jesus Christ as Savior.

We believe that before you are baptized you must believe the message of Jesus Christ, acknowledge your sins, and have faith that Jesus has forgiven you. After this, a “submersion” baptism can take place to represent your decision to be identified with Christ.

If you are interested in participating in baptism please contact Craig Bowler at craig@sanctuaryinhim.org, or fill out a comment card in church and place it in the offering basket as you leave.

Family Dedication

If you have recently welcomed a new child into your family we ask you to consider participating in an upcoming Family Dedication.  At Sanctuary we want to be about partnering with parents as they seek to raise up their children to live and love like Jesus.  Our Family Dedication services are an opportunity for our church family to celebrate the gift of your kids, and the stand you are taking in committing to raise them in a Christ-centered home.  As a church, we want to rejoice with you and commit to stand beside you.
