Active Elders at Sanctuary

At Sanctuary we believe in the Biblical leadership model of Elders, and we are excited about the individuals God has raised up to serve in this critical role at our church.

One of few Georgia natives, I was born in Cobb County and currently live in Powder Springs with my beautiful bride of 15 years, Dana, of Mobile, Alabama.  Our son Nathanael is four years old and loves trains, cars and just about anything mechanical.

An entrepreneur at heart, I own DATO Technologies, an Information Technology services company, and we serve small businesses in the Atlanta area by helping them better utilize technology to run their operations.  Dana leads a discipleship counseling ministry,  New Life Design, where she teaches individuals and couples how to live out of their true identity in Christ and experience the abundant life Jesus promised them.

I grew up in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and met my lovely wife while I was in college studying mechanical engineering and she was attending nursing school. In 1989 we moved to the far suburbs of New York City and we spent about 19 years there as I managed the technical training operation in the Northeast and mid-Atlantic  areas for an auto manufacturer. We moved to west Cobb from NY in 2009 due to changes in my job and we’ve come to love the southern lifestyle and mild winter weather.

We have a daughter Sara who is a occupational therapist technician and an avid equestrian. She lives here in Georgia and is involved with helping autistic children learn how to care for and ride horses. Our son Christopher and his wife Emi both work in Manhattan, NY and live near the Statue of Liberty in New Jersey.

Sandy and I love Sanctuary and I am humbled and honored to be a part of the leadership team serving God here.
