Sanctuary is committed to proclaiming the gospel in our homes, our neighborhoods, and around the world. Jesus gave us a very clear picture of this in His Great Commission found in Matthew 28, “Go and make disciples of all nations.” We believe this mission is a natural fruit of the transformation process, not a duty, but rather a desire to love others as God has loved us. We believe Local and Global Outreach opportunities at Sanctuary serve as a way for us to grow as a disciple and make disciples all at the same time.
An 8 week mission investing in the hearts of students at Hayes Elementary. Many hands are needed to prepare lunches, help with crafts, and simply engage students and families for 1 hour each Wednesday. The program will take place at Pine Mountain Middle School.

Atlanta Dream Center-Out of Darkness
Statistics report that Atlanta is among the worst cities in the country for sex trafficking. But there is hope! Atlanta is also regarded as one of the cities having the most coordinated responses to trafficking.
Out of Darkness is the anti-trafficking ministry of the Atlanta Dream Center. The mission of Out of Darkness is to REACH, RESCUE, and RESTORE all victims of commercial sexual exploitation so that the glory of God may be known.
Their vision is a world where the ruins are rebuilt, the breach is repaired and the streets are restored. (Isaiah 58:12)
Prayer: For hearts to continue being reached, rescued, and restored.
Engage: To reach those still in the darkness of sexual exploitation, we must meet them where they’re at. Out of Darkness takes teams to the streets, hotels, jails, hospitals, and law enforcement agencies with a message of hope and new life. Out of Darkness is always looking for new volunteers who are passionate about taking the light of Jesus into the darkest places!

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is touching millions of lives… one heart at a time. Since 1954, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high, and youth levels to use the powerful medium of athletics to impact the world for Jesus Christ. FCA focuses on serving local communities by equipping, empowering, and encouraging people to make a difference for Christ.
The FCA vision is to see the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.
The FCA mission is to present to coaches, athletes, and all whom they influence, the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church.
Prayer: Pray for hearts in the community to receive the love of Christ as it is delivered through FCA volunteers by way of lunches, tournaments, camps, and Bible studies.

Kids Hope & Hayes Elementary School:
We have the unique opportunity to partner with Hayes Elementary School. We began our partnership with Hayes through Kids Hope Mentors. We continue to invest in this school through donations, events, teacher appreciation etc. Below is more information about mentoring at Hayes.
Kids Hope USA is the catalyst for an expanding network of church/school partnerships. These partnerships take on the enormous challenge of kids at risk—One Child, One Hour, One Church, One School at a time—through one-on-one mentoring relationships.
Prayer: As Hayes teachers and administration seek not only to educate but also to nurture relationships with their students, they are faced with daily challenges. These challenges call for a supernatural stamina to stand firm against the ways of the world. We ask you to pray for God’s blessings and provision for the administration, teachers, staff, and students at Hayes. In addition, Hayes is praying for our Lord to have favor on Hayes’ reputation in the community.
Engage: There are approximately 25 more students at Hayes in need of weekly mentors. Training is offered. The commitment for mentors is one hour each week for one school year.
