Acts 2 reminds us of the simplicity in how the early church followed Jesus. They met in homes throughout the week to bless each other, pray for one another, learn together, share with anyone who was in need, and encourage one another in their journey of following Jesus. And the Lord was at work in and through them. That’s why Life Groups are such an important part of our discipleship strategy, and an essential part of growing together in Christ.
Most of our groups meet every other week in someone’s home. Some share meals together, but all study the Word of God through a deeper dive into the sermon topic or a Biblically based study. You’re invited to join a Life Group today!
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” Acts 2:42-47
