Next Steps

By Events No Comments
Are you new to Sanctuary or ready to get further connected within the church?  On Sunday morning, beginning October 26th at 9:30 am, we will start a three-week class called Next Steps. At Next Steps we will walk through our journey as individuals and as a church, and how God has uniquely put us together as a body for such a time as this.  We will explore what it looks like to glorify God in our everyday lives, get plugged into authentic community, and how to use our gifts to serve others both inside and outside the walls of the church.

Are you ready to take the Next Step?  Join us in room 102, next to the Cafe.  Please RSVP if you plan on attending.  We look forward to seeing you there!

The Explicit Gospel – Men’s Wednesday Night Study

By Events No Comments

Even if you go to church, it doesn’t mean that you are being exposed (or exposing others) to the gospel explicitly. Sure, most people talk about Jesus, and about being good and avoiding bad, but the gospel message simply isn’t there-at least not in a way that is specific and comprehensive.

Inspired by the needs of both the overchurched and the unchurched, popular pastor Matt Chandler shows that the gospel has implications for more than just conversion as it comes to bear on the cosmos, our every day lives, and the full scope of redemptive history. With wisdom and wit, Matt plumbs the depths of the gospel so that we might see the staggering implications of the good news of grace.

In doing so he makes a clarion call to true Christianity, to know the gospel explicitly, to teach it uncompromisingly, and to unite the church on the amazing grounds of the good news of Jesus!
