Join us on Sunday, May 18th from 6-8 p.m. for a free concert led by singer and violinist, Jean Watson.

Jean Watson delved into the Christian recording world as a singer/songwriter in 2003. Since that time, her voice and testimony of God’s grace and healing have touched thousands of lives around the world. The power of Jean’s message comes out of her unique ability to minister and perform with a balance of musical excellence and childlike transparency. God uses Jean to break barriers of the heart through her willingness to share the story of her own weakness and healing.   Hearing Jean sing and speak brings an infusion of faith in the love and power of God. Her passion for God is absolutely contagious!

Jean maintains a full concert schedule in the US, the UK, and Ireland where she hosts a daily radio show on United Christian Broadcasting Radio Ireland. She also has committed much of her ministry time to “the least of these” by regularly visiting prisons, jails, and homeless shelters. When she is not traveling, she enjoys playing violin in the Kalamazoo Symphony and spending time with her four children.

We will not have childcare available, but we encourage you to bring your children and stay as long as your family is able.

On Sunday morning, beginning May 18th at 9:30 am, we will start a three-week small group study called Next Steps. At Next Steps we’ll study the process of transformation. The first week we will examine the purpose, vision, and values of Sanctuary. In the second week we’ll look at the Spirit led process of transformation. In week three we will focus on opportunities for ministry, connection points, and conclude with a study of the outcomes of transformation.

Next Steps will be held in room 102, next to the Cafe. Please RSVP if you plan on attending. We look forward to seeing you there!

Help us show appreciation to the teachers and staff of Hayes Elementary as the school year is wrapping up!

We invite you to help with a lunch in honor of the teachers and staff on May 6th at 11:00 am. We need volunteers to help with set up, greeting, and clean up. We also need your help by preparing a side item or dessert, as we will be hosting 140 teachers and staff members. Any non-perishable items can be dropped off at church on Sunday morning, 5/4. All other items will need to be brought to the church during office hours on Monday 5/5 between 9 am-4 pm.
