Rooted – Wednesday Nights @ Sanctuary

We are excited to continue offering opportunities for our children, students, and adults to grow in their relationship with Christ and become more rooted in their faith!  See below for information regarding upcoming Bible studies for all ages, as we seek to provide venues for everyone to participate on Wednesday nights!  You can sign up you and your family here.

Sermon on the Mount Kids
All elementary kids are invited to join us for an 8 week interactive and fun study on the Sermon on the Mount.  Click here to register!

Sanctuary Youth
Wednesday youth gatherings begin at 6:30 with dinner provided for $3 followed by worship, teaching, and small groups.  Click the corresponding links for more information regarding our middle school and high school student ministries.

Women’s Ministry
Come join the women of Sanctuary on Wednesday evenings as we study God’s Word and continue to understand truth about who we are. Upcoming topics we’ll be studying are brokenness, surrender and abiding in Christ, setting our minds, forgiveness, anger, the spiritual battle and God’s providence.  Don’t miss this opportunity to grow in grace and knowledge and connect with other women.

Men’s Ministry
Join us as we grow deep in the word and truth that is being taught on Sunday mornings.  We will take the opportunity to use the Sunday morning sermons to drive us closer to Christ and to each other as we seek to build and foster relationships.  Click here to register.

Local Outreach Opportunities
Christmas Giving Tree – Help us support our two ministry partners as well as our very own congregation by proving Christmas gifts to those in need. The Christmas Tree in the back of the auditorium will have tags attached  with specific Christmas needs that you can you can take home with you.  Please pick one off the tree and sign your name and email on the sheet provided on the table. Stockings are being collected by Sunday Dec. 11, while all other needs have until Sunday Dec. 17.
Operation Christmas Child– It’s the time of year when we can bless others through Operation Christmas Child (OCC) shoe box collection. Still one more opportunity to drop off a shoebox in the church lobby on Sunday November 27th. Thank you so much!

Life Groups and Adult Classes
Currently, there are around 18 small groups that are meeting or are in the process of forming. Some of these groups were together before Sanctuary began and some are just now getting established. However, there are still a number of people who have expressed interest in being part of a life group but currently are not in one. One of our top priorities is identifying additional individuals who can shepherd these people. We are praying that God will raise up several more servant-leaders so that, one day, everyone at Sanctuary will be connected to a life group. We are planning to formally kick-off life groups after the first of the year.

Also, starting in January, we are planning to offer some spiritual formation classes for adults on Sunday mornings. These classes will be strategically designed to supplement life groups,  equip leaders, teach disciples, and introduce newcomers and new believers to Sanctuary. More information about these classes will be coming soon.

Christmas Eve Gatherings: 3:00pm, 4:30 pm, & 6:00 pm (Children’s ministry provided for birth through kindergarten during each gathering)
Christmas Day: No gathering at Sanctuary. Celebrate the birth of our Savior with your family and friends!
New Years Day: One gathering at 11:30 am

Parents of Prodigals 7-8:30pm Wed Dec 7 Mt Calvary Baptist Church

Join the West Cobb Parents of Prodigals group on Wednesday, December 7 from 7-8:30 pm to hear Mitzi Walters talk about “Breaking the Silence.”  Mitzi  is a Licensed Professional Counselor who will provide insight and encouragement as we seek hope in God for those we love. Sanctuary Men’s & Women’s Ministries Are Growing!

Women’s Ministry – We’re excited to announce two upcoming opportunities for women!

Wednesday, September 28th a one-night event, “Together, To Live” will be filled with worship and wisdom from God’s word, as speaker Teri Cress teaches on relationships.

Beginning October 5th, we’ll kick off a six-week study of Ephesians: A Letter of Life Lessons.

Stop by our table in the lobby during services in September if you have questions and to register for the event and bible study.  You may also find more information and register on the website.

Men’s Ministry Bible Studies

Join us every other Friday morning (next session September 30) at 6:30am as we continue our GO DEEP! verse-by-verse study of the book of Romans.  More information can be found on our website.  We hope to see you there!

Also, starting Wednesday October 5th and continuing each Wednesday through November 16th, please join us 6:45-8:30PM for our Putting Faith Into Action! study of the book of James.  More information can be found on our website.  We hope to see you there!
