Volunteers Needed!!!

As we move into a new school year, we have several opportunities for you to minister to our children and students at Sanctuary!  Below you will find a list of the openings that we need to fill beginning August, 14th.  Please prayerfully consider where God would like for you to serve and reach out to us with any questions you may have.  Anyone interested in serving with our kids and students must fill out an application found here.

Preschool Needs:
  • Crawlers: (Lead Teacher and Assistant Teacher) 11:30
  • 2 Year Olds: (Assistant Teacher) 9:30
  • 3 Year Olds: (Lead & Assistant Teacher) 9:30
  • 4 & 5 Year Olds: (Assistant) 11:30
Elementary Needs:
  • 1st & 2nd Grade: (Assistant Teacher) 9:30
  • 3rd Grade: (Lead Teacher and Assistant) 11:30
  • 4th & 5th Grade Boys: (Lead Teacher) 9:30
Musical Needs:
  • We need a couple people who are musically inclined to help lead our preschool and elementary students in worship.  Please contact us for more info.

Note: If you are a middle or high school student interested in serving with our kids please contact us and we will get you plugged in!

Middle & High School Student Ministry:
We need several volunteers to join us each Wednesday night (6:30-8:30) as we pour into our students
  • Youth Leaders – People committed to being present in students’ lives on Wednesday nights and throughout the week
  • Food Coordinators – Individuals to coordinate Wednesday night dinners
  • Prayer Warriors – Team of people commit to praying for our students

Sanctuary News & Updates

Sanctuary “Green” and Sanctuary “Clean”; we’re proud of our vision for everyone in the church to serve God in some capacity. Do you like landscaping and cleaning?  Call your friends and see if they would be willing to serve with you. You can volunteer via the Sanctuary 3:17 Survey or contact terryburger@callatlantahome.com.

Online Giving; we now have the ability to accept tithes and offerings through our website. http://143.95.95.35/get-involved/give/, and click “Online Giving”.

Relational Leadership Opportunities; If you are interested in serving in a leadership capacity at Sanctuary, please join us Sunday evening July 24th from 6:00 – 8:00 at the church to learn more. We will be sharing the overall vision for leaders at Sanctuary and there will be an opportunity to learn more about how you can serve in a leadership role in our children’s ministry, youth ministry, adult small groups, and as an elder.
 
Sanctuary, mark your calendars! Our children’s ministry promotion will be Sunday August 14th! Our students & children move to the new classes. Interested in serving in our children’s ministry? Contact courtney@sanctuaryinhim.org.
 
Sanctuary Student Summer Bible Studies continue! MS Sundays 11:30, HS Thursdays 6:30pm, both @ church. HS prayer breakfast Tuesdays 8am. Spread the word!
 
NO MIDDLE SCHOOL BIBLE STUDY THIS SUNDAY JULY 3RD…enjoy a wonderful Independence Day weekend!

Six Month Anniversary Celebration

We’ve been worshiping together as Sanctuary for 6 months as of mid-June. That’s crazy! To celebrate what He has done in our community in this short amount of time, we will gather together to revisit and cast vision.

Friday, June 17th Tailgate Party 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Join us for a night of fellowship and fun.  Bring a side dish or a dessert to share.
Burgers and drinks provided.
Face painting for the kids.  Tug O’ War for the adults.

Saturday, June 18th  Vision Updates  9:00 – 10:30 a.m.
We’ll gather to celebrate where God has led us.  We’ll hear updates from our Spiritual Formation, Formal Leadership, Serve, and Stewardship Vision Teams.
Q & A session to follow.

Sunday, June 19th 9:30 & 11:30 a.m.
Two gatherings to worship and celebrate our God!
