PRAY FOR OUR NEIGHBORHOODS & THE NATIONS

GLOBAL OUTREACH

Bolivia: Drs. Placido & Toni Mercado

Prayer Request:

We know AND feel we are exactly where God wants us to be, but we are bone tired. COVID-19 has hit hard both by infecting people and by becoming the only focus of the health system which closes the door on those with other problems. This has pushed our patient number higher than we have ever had in our lives and our patients are poorer than ever. Please pray for love, strength and wisdom.

Cambodia:  Dr. Felipe and Joy Castro

Prayer Request:

Please lift up the ministries of Bileg Solid Rock Missions.  There is need for 3 to 4 Filipino missionary teachers, 3 to 4 American nurses and 3 to 4 doctors. Pray for the success of our new class being implemented now together with the conventional curriculum which is very limited due to the health restrictions.  Also, for protection from COVID-19, and the spiritual growth and maturity of the Saving Susan Ministry kids.  Grace is now 9 and is doing well.  Pray for her as she is learning to be more obedient and growing in her faith.

Cambodia:  Pastor Paul and Jeanet Tabanao

Prayer Request:

Please pray for new marriages and businesses to be faithful in serving the Lord. Pray for missionary teachers and pastors as they build churches and reach their communities with the gospel. Pray for safety, health and the challenges related to COVID-19.

Cambodia:  Pastor Sihok

Prayer Request:

Please pray as COVID-19 in our country is getting better, but people are suffering because of the economic effects.  Also pray for food relief for our seven mission church members that the Lord gave us during COVID-19, and for the faithfulness and growth of our church members. For strength, wisdom, safety, health and power as more souls get saved and baptized.  And for Pastor Sihok’s parents as they recover from illness.

Cambodia:  Saving Susan Ministry

Prayer Request:

Pray that the Lord will lead us in our mission as we connect loving families with orphans in need of love and support. We ask God to bless our new relationships, both with orphan community partners and churches, and for those relationships to bear fruit for the Kingdom. May God continue to bless each child we serve as they learn and grow, whether at their orphan community school or in college, and to bless the staff who cares daily for them with strength and patience to lovingly teach and guide them.

Dominican Republic:  Camilo & Carla Garcia

We have a team traveling to Ethiopia, pray for travel mercy’s and that we may shine bright for Jesus. May we be transformed to be more like Jesus.

Pray that our partner churches would continue to grow in faith and numbers as they meet online. LOCAL OUTREACH

Mercy Street Ministries: Bethany Foran

Prayer Request:

As we journey with people from all walks of life through prayer, counsel, inner-healing and deliverance, we need prayer warriors to pray on our behalf. Please pray for strength, wisdom and discernment and however the Holy Spirit leads you to pray for us. We are praying for a house of refuge for whosoever to come and receive the healing they need. We are also praying for funding to be able to continue the mission to which God has called us.

FCA: David & Tricia Delk

Prayer Request:

We pray to see the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.

Local School: Hayes Elementary

Prayer Request:

Please pray for our school and Cobb County right now. In general, we are all feeling the anxiety of being able to stay healthy and help our community with their own concerns about health and the future. We have kids that are starting to show anxiety and families that have been seriously impacted by the pandemic. Prayers for healing, protection, and a general sense of hope that God is truly in control and going to use all of this for His glory and good. Please also pray for those staff members that have lost someone due to COVID-19 and for comfort in their grief.

Local School: Lost Mountain Middle

Prayer Request:

Pray for peace to overcome all the stress that has moved into the lives of teachers, staff and families as everyone navigates the constant changes due to COVID-19. Pray that the LMMS family would be covered by His protection and that people would respond to one another in love, not out of the stress and anxiety that the daily circumstances bring.

SUPPORTED MINISTRIES

Blue Skies:  Melinda Mayton

Prayer Request:

If there is any way to safely hold camp this summer, we are planning to launch our modified program in June. We are so in hopes to continue bringing the hope of Jesus to children with cancer and their families. We are in prayer and continually exploring how best to do this in our new world. We trust Him with what’s next. And, if having camp is what’s next at Blue Skies, we look to Jesus to provide the necessities: location, funding, families to care for and volunteers to serve them. Would you pray that we would be quiet and attentive before the Lord in seeking His next steps for us?

Fishing For Hope:  Tim Johnson

Prayer Request:

Colossians 4:2-6
Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving; meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains, that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.
Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time.
Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.

Paulding Pregnancy Services:  Paula Decarreau

Prayer Request:

Prayers that God would continue to bring women to PPS who truly need our services. We pray that their hearts would soften when truth is spoken to them about how loved they and their babies are by God. We also ask for prayers for unity for our staff and strength that we may not grow weary in our service to the Lord.

Sunrise Ministries:  Kimberly McDevitt

Prayer Request:

We ask for prayers for our Outreach street teams. Pray for God’s power to go forth through His people to reach broken lives in Jesus name and set the captive free from lies, strongholds, emotional bondage and physical bondage. Pray names will be written in the Lamb’s book of life and that lives will be transformed by the power of the cross. Pray for signs, wonders and miracles to go forth to declare our Great God and His great Love, which brings hope to the hurting and weary.

MISSIONARY FAMILIES

Asia:  Andrew & Meghan

Prayer Request:

When we made plans to return to SEA earlier this spring, we had a lot of hope and anticipation that our country would remain fairly open within its borders and even begin opening to some international tourism in July. Instead, the opposite has happened.  Since arriving back in SEA in early April, we’ve had only two weeks of “normal life” that were not in hotel quarantine or some form of lockdown.  Please pray for us, our team, and our church. Morale is low and there doesn’t seem to be an end in sight yet. Please pray that the covid situation in our city, country, and region can get back under control.

North Africa:  Daniel & Jenna

Prayer Request:

In our host nation in North Africa, much worldly and spiritual opposition exists against effort for the Gospel of Jesus. In the worldly sense, red tape and subtle obstruction has come against us in recent months, slowing our visa approval process and disheartening our energy and peace. In the spiritual sense, bondage of the millions here through two strategies of Satan: serving works-righteousness and the dark, cold system of Islam. Please pray for liberation and breakthrough in these two areas by God’s mighty hand!

Spain:  Brooks & Jordan

Prayer Request:

Please pray for flexibility as we continue to be affected and need to constantly change plans due to covid. We are meeting one on one with students in open air facilities to make the most of opportunities to do some very intentional discipleship with students we already know. En Vivo is also putting out weekly content on our new podcast, “Conectate”. Jordan has begun meetings for one-on-one outdoor yoga classes with her students and Brooks is taking time doing some kitchen renovations. Pray as we parent Lola and manage the finances of En Vivo.

Western Asia:  Justin & Elizabeth

Prayer Request:

COVID-19 restrictions have made it very difficult to connect with people, therefore making sharing truth difficult.  We’ve pivoted to using social media to cast wide nets.  Pray that the HS would soften people’s hearts, heighten their curiosity, and give them the courage to watch the videos, read the information, and engage in chats.

Africa:  Julie

Prayer Request:

Noepe is raising finances for campus expansion; building more staff housing, repairing and creating more classroom space for the Primary and Secondary schools, creating a safe play space for staff children, and building a water tower to provide enough water for all living on the base. Pray for enough finances to run the mission base; enough money for food, electricity, and support for our staff. Pray that God will do mighty works here and this can be a place of transformation, training, and sending workers to all Nations.
