This summer, Sanctuary is partnering with Hayes Elementary School to help launch a summer reading program called “Read to Lead”. We invite you to take part in this initiative that will allow students to exchange books on a weekly basis, while also providing them with lunch, story time, and a craft. This opportunity will allow us to continue deepening relationships in the community while engaging students in Biblical based stories.
Many hands are needed in this 6-week mission. We invite your families and small groups to take part in this mission through one of the following:
- Packing lunches weekly (Sundays or Mondays)
- Delivering and handing out lunches weekly (Wednesday mornings)
- Volunteering on Wednesdays from 10:30-11:30 a.m. to help onsite at Hayes with book check out, coordinating craft time, or taking part in story telling
