Message Series Study

This study is on-going for men & women of all ages and stages. Join us for a deeper conversation into the Sunday morning message series. The current message series is Mark: The Beginning of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

From the start of Mark’s gospel, Jesus is immediately presented as the long-awaited Messiah. The first half of the gospel focuses on the identity of Jesus, culminating with Jesus asking Peter, “Who do you say that I am?” Peter rightly confesses that Jesus is the Christ, but then reveals that he does not fully understand the path that Jesus will take. The second half of Mark’s gospel reveals how Jesus flips the expectations for the long-awaited Messiah by becoming the suffering servant who would “give his life as a ransom for many.”

Finally, the gospel narrative closes with another confession as the centurion stands before the cross saying, “Surely this man is the Son of God.” It is our prayer that God will use this gospel to bring conviction to our confession and clarity to our confusion so that we might more faithfully align with his invitation to follow him in accomplishing his mission.

Jesus & Women Study

Of the 1st Century and Now

Ladies, let’s study together! Imagine walking the dusty roads of Galilee with Jesus of Nazareth—braving jostling crowds just to touch the edge of His cloak and hear Him say, “Take heart, daughter, your faith has healed you.” Those words, once meant to comfort a hurting woman’s soul thousands of years ago, were also meant for you. Join biblical culturalist Kristi McLelland on those dusty roads as she transports you back to Jesus’ world, following in the footsteps of the women who came face-to-face with the Living God. Over 7 sessions, examine the historical and cultural climate of first-century Middle Eastern society to not only understand Jesus more deeply but to fuel your worship of Him today.
