During these challenging times, we certainly desire to  be the church in our community. Let’s all look for ways to share Christ’s love with our neighbors, by serving those in need of help and by looking for opportunities to point others toward the Gospel of peace. Because of Kennedy: November 8 - December 6

Partner with Because of Kennedy(BoK) as they care for orphans and empower the vulnerable in Ethiopia while demonstrating faith, hope and love in Jesus Christ. Support their Christmas Give by donating reusable and disposable face masks for BoK to distribute in Ethiopia in December. The deadline to bring face masks is Sunday, November 29th.
If you took a BoK bag on Sunday, November 8th, please fill it with the requested items and return it to the church by Sunday, December 6th.
All items can be placed in donation bins in the lobby on Sundays during gatherings or during office hours Monday-Thursday 9:30am-4:30pm.

Giving Tree: November 29 - December 13

We invite you to help us bless those in need, our schools and local ministries this Christmas season. Our Giving Trees initiative will look a little different this year. All opportunities will be online to benefit Sanctuary families; Hayes Elementary students and custodians; Lost Mountain Middle students; Sunrise Ministries and Out Of Darkness Ministry. Sunrise Ministries: November 29 - December 13

There are many women in recovery programs during this season and for the first time they will not be around family, friends or their homes, We want to flood their mail with Christmas cards with simple blessings and uplifting words of joy and encouragement. Please drop off the cards on the front tables in the lobby by Sunday, December 13th. Do not write anything on the envelope, the cards will be addressed and mailed on your behalf.
Bring your cards any Sunday during gatherings or during office hours Monday-Thursday 9:30am-4:30pm.

Saving Susan Ministry: November 29 - December 10

Partner with Saving Susan as they elevate orphan care partnering each child with a loving Christian family, enrich their education, and support them holistically on their path to fulfilling God’s will for their lives. Make your online donation by Thursday, December 10th in caring for an orphan’s Christmas. Click HERE to support an orphan for Christmas.

Red Kettle Day: December 5

Join us on Saturday, December 5th in ringing the bell to benefit the Salvation Army and our local community! The ministry of Salvation Army assists in providing shelter for the homeless, food for the hungry among many other needs in the local community and beyond. Hayes Adopt-A-Teacher

Sanctuary would like to pray for and show our appreciation to the teachers & staff of Hayes Elementary School throughout the school year. We invite you to join us by adopting a teacher or staff member to encourage each month. We will provide suggestions such as sending a card, having lunch delivered, providing much needed supplies, etc.

MUST Ministries

In an effort to help the many at-risk students and their families who do not have enough food during the closing of schools, MUST Ministries is coordinating a MUST Food Rapid Response Program. Family food boxes will be distributed at several points around Cobb and Cherokee Counties beginning soon.

Barrels will be in the MUST Ministries covered area drive-thru seven days a week, 8:00 a.m – 4:00 p.m.

Food donations are needed and can be dropped off at the following locations:

  • The Donation Center at 1280 Field Parkway, Marietta 30066
  • MUST Ministries in Cherokee at 111 Brown Industrial Road, Canton
