Current Outreach Opportunities

While we are not gathering in the church building at this time, we certainly desire to  be the church in these next few weeks. Let’s all look for ways to share Christ’s love with our neighbors, by serving those in need of help and by looking for opportunities to point others toward the Gospel of peace. You can find all community outreach opportunities during this COVID-19 time listed here. If you know of a need in the community that is not listed below, please contact info@sanctuaryinhim.org to share.

Partner with Sunrise Ministries

Sanctuary has recently partnered with Sunrise Ministries, who has continued to meet with the vulnerable, the homeless and exploited during this COVID-19 time. Sunrise Ministries asks you to partner with them through prayer over their food deliveries to the communities they serve. These food deliveries open the door for prayer and sharing of the Gospel with those Sunrise Ministries serves.
Thanks to your incredible generosity the past few weeks, we currently do not need additional food donations for Sunrise Ministries at this time. Stay tuned for opportunities to provide food donations later this summer as needed. In the meantime, we invite you to continue travailing in prayer for Sunrise Ministries. Sunrise Ministries asks for prayer for God to meet all their needs and for His Gospel to be received.

Medical Staff at Cobb Hospital

We invite you to partner with us in continued prayer and encouragement for all medical staff on the front lines of today’s pandemic. Consider joining us by writing a note of encouragement that will be sent to Cobb Hospital and shared with the medical staff (doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, administrative staff, environmental workers and other support staff).
Please send your notes to Katharine Faucett via email or by mail. Thank you for encouraging healthcare workers in our community!
Email your note of encouragement to faucettfam@comcast.net
